I love Easter. I love the story, I love the candy, I love the inexplicable bunny. I like the flowers and I really loved the little lace gloves I got as a kid. But this Easter I am having a hard time with the trees and flowers all blooming - I am suffering from some wicked-bad allergies.Aside from that, it's a great day. Go read the Easter story - it's important to remember today's importance (it's not really about candy). You may be wondering, "What's with the butterfly?" Butterflies are a traditional symbol of resurrection, and the Blue Morpho is one of the most startlingly beautiful butterflies I know of.
Then, maybe, you can go have some candy.

Postscript: "It's important to remember today's importance"? Why didn't my roomies, with all their amazing editorial skills, call me on that one?
